Two-Step Protein Treatment
The two-step protein treatment ApHogee 2-Step Protein Treatment is designed to repair and regenerate severely damaged hair, including hair that is breaking, over-processed, bleached, highly damaged, and can also be used as a preliminary treatment before coloring. No method is better in repairing damaged hair than the two-step approach. This repairing process is highly recommended for hair that:
- is too weak or thin to undergo a permanent wave or straightening treatment (the treatment should be done one week before the procedure)
- is excessively bleached
- does not hold color (the treatment should be applied before coloring to achieve 30% less fading after ten shampooing)
- breaks while combing or brushing
- appears "mushy" when wet and becomes very brittle when dry
Immediately after the treatment, apply ApHogee Balancing Moisturizer conditioner to restore softness.
pH: 2.8-3.2
Usage instructions:
1. Wash hair with shampoo, rinse and towel dry.
2. Apply the appropriate amount of ApHogee 2-Step Protein Treatment to saturate the hair thoroughly and distribute with a wide-tooth comb for even coverage.
3. Do not cover hair, DO NOT use a plastic cap. Dry hair with a hooded dryer or air dry, but REMEMBER not to comb hair while drying. Note: After drying with ApHogee 2-Step Protein Treatment, hair will become very hard and stiff. Do not comb hair with the product in it.
4. Moisten hair again and rinse hair to remove excess product. Towel dry hair.
5. Apply ApHogee Balancing Moisturizer to hair and scalp. Leave on for 2 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
6. Proceed to the next step of hair care or regular styling.
The treatment can be repeated every 4-6 weeks depending on the hair care regimen.
